Pray that we find a language school and a babysitter so that Kiska can attend language classes alongside Jeshua.
The Lord has allowed us to find a language school and given us a babysitter that we are able to leave the boys with, allowing Kiska to attend language school with Jeshua. We started intensive language classes December 2nd.
Pray for our continual adjustment to Portugal. Learning the culture, where everything is, and navigating life in a foreign country with young children.
O português é muito difícil! Pray as we learn to speak Portuguese properly and in a timely manner so we can effectively communicate with the people God has put us with. Pray that Kiska is also able to minister alongside Jeshua and be comfortable in a foreign country.
Pray for our AIMA appointment in Portugal for our residency cards. AIMA went on strike and was said to be closed until February 2026, but our long term visa expires in January.
God answered our prayers above and beyond! We received appointments in a city 40 minutes from us with all of our appointments on the same day, just 30 minutes apart. This is a very rare thing to happen but we know it was all God! Appointments are set for March 18th.
We sent off our pallets to our new home on August 16th. They said it would take about 11 weeks to arrive. Pray they get there swiftly and in one piece.
Our pallets arrived safely in Portugal! God protected our belongings across the ocean.
Pray for the church as they learn our family and we learn them. Pray for strong relationships and that we integrate well into the congregation.
