Carters to Portugal

Prayer Letter — May 2025

Dear Pastor and Church,

The Devil has been fighting this last month, which only means the Lord is working! Our baby decided to come at 33 weeks unexpectedly. Kaden was born March 28th at 5lbs 10oz. He had trouble breathing so he spent 2 trying weeks in the NICU, but we are praising God we now have a healthy little boy. Due to his early arrival we had to cancel a month's worth of meetings and a trip to Portugal planned for the beginning of April. I (Jeshua) have also been dealing with some health issues. I have been passing out and didn't know why. The Devil has been fighting but God always comes out on top.

Here are the blessings that have come through these valleys we went through. 1. We were only supposed to be in town for 3 days when Kiska's water broke. We were able to be home and around family during this trial! 2. I had my fainting spells while we were home, so I was able to see my doctor and figure out that I have hypoglycemia. 3. I was able to reschedule my trip to Portugal for the end of April. The trip was very profitable as I was able to find housing for the visa process and to see the church. Sunday they had 35 in service and such a sweet spirit. We are so excited for when the Lord allows us to go over and STAY! I'm thankful for the Lord's protection in our lives.

Please be in special prayer for us getting our visas. We were hoping we could move in July but due to the visas, it is looking more like September. The Lord knows why and we just have to trust Him in that. While I was in Portugal, I signed a three year lease for an apartment required for our visa approval. Praise God he helped me find a place for my family when we go over!

God Bless!
