Prayer Letter — August / September 2025
We are very excited as the Lord has allowed us to hit 100% of our support! Thank you to every church that has taken us on and helped us along the way. We have ended deputation with many sweet memories, good friends, faithful prayer partners and increased faith. We are very thankful for the safety God has given us on the road. We had no wrecks and believe it or not, no tickets!! We have grown so much on the road, and we are thankful for this opportunity God has given us. Missionaries have told us that deputation prepares you for the field and we definitely can see that.
We have submitted for our visas and waiting for the approval. We have plane tickets to Portugal on Sept. 2nd. We are excited for our arrival and to be with the church in Portugal. Once we arrive we will jump into setting up our home and finding a vehicle. Please continue to pray for us as we get settled into the ministry and life we have waiting for us.
I had the opportunity to meet a lady back in April that helped us find an apartment and get a few things in order for us to arrive. We have been able to talk to her about the Lord and build a friendship with her. We have already planned to meet her when we get to the field and have dinner. She seems to be looking for something different than what she has. Her name is Ana.
We sent off our pallets to our new home on August 16th! They said it would take about 11 weeks for it to arrive there so we will arrive before the pallet does. Pray it gets there swiftly and in one piece.
We are excited to be able to spend some time with the church there as well. Our plan is to be able to get to know each person better and build strong relationships with them so we could continue to reach out to the community as a church together.
I will be going to language school pretty soon after arriving. Please pray that I will be able to learn fast and be able to speak and understand as the Lord gives me the wisdom. I don't want to be a hindrance to the work.
